The developer area is the operational home for a Subby integration. It combines credentials, webhook health, request logs, sandbox data and API usage so a team can diagnose subscription issues without switching tools.
Developer area
Manage sandbox and live keys separately, create restricted keys, rotate credentials and review recent API requests. Webhook controls expose endpoint health, delivery attempts and replay actions. Usage meters distinguish free reads from metered writes and show nudge consumption.
The sandbox remains isolated from live data and never moves money. Use Environments and sandbox and Testing in sandbox to prepare an integration.
Webhook operations
Signed events keep merchant systems in sync with the subscription engine. Endpoint health surfaces repeated failures and disabled endpoints in the dashboard's needs-attention list.
See Webhooks for signature verification and retry behavior.
Frequently asked questions
Are sandbox and live keys interchangeable?
No. Use sk_test_ keys with the sandbox base URL and sk_live_ keys with the live base URL. The developer area keeps them separate.
Do webhook deliveries count toward API usage?
No. Webhook deliveries are never metered. Only the API requests you make to manage endpoints are.
